Simply put, this is where you keep track of you body stats. Failure to do so will link the spreadsheet back to the shared read-only copy and not yours*** In order for those to work correctly for your copy of the spreadsheet, you will have to follow the directions on the instructions sheet. ***There are hyperlinks throughout the spreadsheet that links to specific cell/locations inside the spreadsheet. There is an instructions sheet built into the spreadsheet, but I'll briefly go over each tab as well.
I made this to go along with my workout plan, and so the calorie goal will update based on how your body changes. This spreadsheet works by letting you set a weekly or daily macro goal, weekly or daily calorie goal (in case you decide to deviate from the suggested), a daily/weekly food planner, a database to keep your food, as well as a database for custom recipes. (As an aside, I also have this posted on r/CalorieTracker where I post any updates I do and for people to report bugs or ask questions) I will not share access, so please don't ask.*** There should be a button that has the Google Drive symbol with a + on it, a button that says add to drive, or got to File>Save as Copy (not sure if the formulas will transfer over to an Excel spreadsheet or not). If you want to edit it, you have to add it to your personal drive first. ***Disclaimer: This spreadsheet is set to read only. Pictures of the spreadsheet are at the bottom. I originally made this to help count calories, and then it turned into a meal prep with a recipe database. This post is quite long, so sorry about that, but there's a lot of stuff to this sheet. Maybe it will help some of you in your prepping needs. I hope this is helpful!Įdit: Woah, thank you so much for the awards! I’m so glad this is helpful for people! I’ll take a look at any comments or concerns and let you guys know in the comments if anything is changed. In anticipation of Meal Prep Sunday tomorrow, I thought I would share this spreadsheet that I made. Questions or concerns? Slide up in my DMs. Here is the as-of-yet incomplete recipe index: Here's the master list with the meal plans: Here's how to download a copy of the google sheet: Of course, you're welcome to fill out what you need once you download a copy for yourself. When the index is complete, I'll send it out again. The recipe index is a work in progress, so it's not yet complete, but every recipe included in the meal plans does include all of the above information. I also have created a separate page which organizes items which I do and do not assume are already in your pantry, as well as my recipes index, which includes hundreds of recipes which are currently organized by cost per recipe, but also includes cost per serving, calories, protein, fat, and carbohydrates per recipe. However, the project expanded and now includes a handful of low-budget meal plans as well as more meal plans for other nutritional goals and food sensitivities including sugar and dairy. I know that if you're actually in dire straits financially, it's actually much more helpful to know the recipe's total cost.
I was annoyed by all the food blogs and posts which budgeted their recipes by the cost per serving rather than the cost per recipe. This project was originally created because I worked for years at a homeless shelter/food bank, and I was constantly face-to-face with those who just didn't have enough money to feed themselves without help.
This has been a passion project for a long time, and it's finally complete enough to send out.
